Paul Bateman
Executive Chairman
Paul has worked in the manufacturing and retail industries for 33 years. He spent 20 years with Procter and Gamble, from Graduate recruit to Head of Manufacturing, Purchasing, Engineering and Distribution for Procter's European Laundry and Cleaning business, and then Global Home Care. He gained a great deal of international experience living overseas for 13 years, and running operations in more than 20 countries. In 2001, Paul joined the board of the Boots Group, and took responsibility for manufacturing, distribution and global supply chain, and then later HR, IT, Communications and PR. He also led the integration of Boots business with Allied Unichem in 2005. He has been chairman of the Betts Group, the world's largest manufacturer of laminate tubes.
Ian Furniss
Financial Director
Ian is a qualified chartered accountant and has held a number of mainly finance related positions in different business sectors. In 1990 he joined Hays Plc and became Finance Director of the Hays Personnel Services division in 1994. In 1997 he joined Harvey Nash group plc as Group Finance Director, prior to its listing on the London Stock Exchange. Since leaving Harvey Nash in 2001, Ian has held Managing Director and/or Finance Director positions at Wynnwith Engineering Limited, Reed Health Group Plc, and Suffolk Life Group plc. As Finance Director, Ian was instrumental in the £63Mn sale of Suffolk Life to Legal and General Group Plc in 2009. Ian is a Non-Executive Director of Shorterm Engineering Ltd, a PE- backed recruitment business.
Martin Myerscough
Technology Director
Martin is an engineer by training and a Chartered Accountant, and has worked for a number of accountancy firms, his final position being that of a manager with Arthur Andersen & Co in London. He then held the position of Finance Director of KS Biomedix Holdings Plc from 1994-2000, which was admitted to AIM in 1995 and became listed on the London Stock Exchange in 1998. The company was subsequently sold. He is the founder and inventor of the technology behind the Titan washing machine. He floated this business as Monotub Industries Plc on Aim in 1999, and launched the machine to the UK market. From 2001 he has been a Director and recently Chairman of the Jupiter Primadona Growth Trust Plc, a £50 Mn general investment trust managed by Jupiter. He is the founder shareholder and instigator of the Fine Art Fund- a collective investment fund in Art. He is the founder of GreenBottle Ltd and invented the GreenBottle concept.
Carl Krajewski
Director
Carl originally trained as an electrical engineer, before moving into business development and management. Carl spent 20 years growing his own £20m automation group both organically and through acquisitions. Carl is still group CEO today. One of his business divisions was instrumental in helping GreenBottle develop their first generation of assembly machines and it was this, together with his passion for the product, that triggered his continued involvement.
Julie Hall
Sales Director
Julie has over 24 years’ sales and product/customer development experience in both branded and own label FMCG start-up, small and medium sized companies. Most recently Julie spent 5 years as sales director for a renowned global supplier of contract manufactured and own label oral care products. Prior to this Julie was at Wisdom Toothbrushes Ltd for 11 years where she developed & managed the international business and was instrumental in the development of the Wisdom brand within the UK.
Gavin Brown
Engineering Director
Gavin is a degree qualified engineer with over 20 years experience in the design and supply of special purpose machinery. Prior to joining GreenBottle, Gavin was Operations Director at RTS PLC, a company specialising in the design and supply of robotic based automation systems to the FMCG, Pharmaceutical, Nuclear and Defence industries.
Martin Lowe
Product Development Director
A qualified chemical engineer, Martin has over 30 years experience within food manufacturing having held senior management, engineering, technical and development positions with a number of leading organisations including Unigate Dairies, the CWS Manufacturing Group , FlexLink and Simon Engineering.
John-Paul Grogan
Head of Design
After attaining a 1st class honours degree in 3D design John-Paul worked as an industrial designer for Minima, a leading product design & high technology innovation consultancy. John-Paul joined GreenBottle in 2008 and is responsible for the complete design process from concept generation through to tooling and quality control systems.
